Stranger Than Fiction, is an American film of comedy-drama-fantasy genre, released in 2006. This movie was directed by Marc Forster. Here Ferrell plays the role of Harold Crick who suddenly begins hearing voices but he can not find who is the narrator. One Harold's death has been declared by the voice and he realises that he must find out who it is and it turns his life upside down.

2.MEGAMIND (2010)

Megamind is an American 3D science fiction animated movie. It i a superhero action comedy movie directed by Tom McGrathand produced by Dreamworks Animation. It tells the story about a superhero named Megamiond who kills his enemy the much loved superhero of Metro City , the Metro Man. After killing his foe he realizes that there is no reason of his villainy and then he attempts to set things right in his city and become the Superhero. Here Ferrell gives the sound of Megamind.

3. ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY (2004)

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is a comedy film of 2004 directed by Adam McKay . this movie was written by Ferrell and McKay.Here Ferrell plays the role of Ron Burgundy who is  a news reporter  at San Diego TV station. There his job is threatened with the arrival of a new female news reporter and this provides the audience a bitter but funny battle between them. This film also has a sequel release in 20013, which is obviously a comedy movie like the previous part which based on Burgundy's news reporting career.

4. ELF (2003)

Elf is a comedy movie which is based on the book written Buddy Hobbs and directed by Adam McKay. The film is about one of the elvs of Santa. later he finds that he is not an elf like the others but he is a human. Then he decides to go to the New York to find his original father. 

5. THE OTHER GUYS (2010)

The Other Guys is a film of action comedy genre of 2010. This was written by Ferrell and Adam McKay. Here Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg plays the lead role of respectively Allen and Terry. They are detectives of  the New York Police Department. They never get any respects from the other officers of the department. They are assigned to a case to investigate where they are trying hard to prove themselves by idolizing other officers.

6. DADDY'S HOME (2015)

Daddy's Home is a comedy movie directed by Sean Anders. This film is the second collaboration of Ferrell with Mark Wahlberg where they plays the role of fathers. Here Ferrell is the step-father and Wahlberg is the biological father. 

7. DADDY'S HOME 2 (2017)

Daddy's Home 2, is the sequel of Daddy's Home, an American Christmas Comedy movie directed by Sean Anders. As this a sequel so it now deals with the parents of Brad( Ferrell) and Dusty( Whalberg). Their fathers come to their home to spend the Christmas holiday with them and now Brad and Dusty have to handle their parents.

8. STEP BROTHERS( 2008)

Step Brothers is a film of 2008 in the genre of comedy starring Ferrell and John C. Reilly. This film was directed by McKay and produced by Jimmy Miller and Judd Apatow. Brennan Huff( Ferrell) and Dale Doback are two middle aged  man who still live with their parents. Huff's divorced mother and Dale's father fall in love with each other and get married and they're forced to live with together and this creates problems.

9. OLD SCHOOL( 2003)

Old School is a comedy film directed  and written by Todd Phillips, based on the story of Court Crandall. This film was released by DreamWorks Pictures and The Montecito Picture Company in 2003. This film is about three middle-aged people Frank Richard, Bernard Campbell and Mitch Martin want to go back to the glorious college life full of fun.
